A super last minute shoot with Michelle Cade of Mind Like Water Wellbeing… but wow did we create some magic at Seven Sisters Sanctuary in north London ✨
Michelle is a sound therapist and music producer working with many instruments including crystal bowls, gongs and immersive sound experiences. We wanted to create atmospheric brand photos that truly reflected the sensory, calming and expansive feeling of her work.
Creating Atmospheric Brand Photography for Sound Therapists
Michelle and I have collaborated creatively for years, sharing the cosy little oasis that is Seven Sisters Sanctuary in north London. Michelle brings the sound therapy and music production, and I bring the breathwork and photography, so creating new brand images for her felt like a very natural collaboration.
She’s constantly sourcing beautiful new crystal bowls and gongs in just the right tones and colours. One arrives and somehow another soon finds a new home. She’s even started selling Universal Gongs now, which are honestly stunning both visually and sonically.
Michelle wanted to capture some atmospheric brand portraits with her sparkling new instruments for her website, socials and also her membership platform Sound Waves, an online membership space for people wanting to explore sound healing and nervous system regulation through music and frequency.
We created a mixture of portraits, wider storytelling imagery and intimate close ups to capture both Michelle’s personality and the immersive feeling of her sound therapy work.
