There’s something magical about capturing someone’s essence in photos, and that’s exactly what happened on a sunny South London shoot with Nancy.
Nancy is a holistic wellbeing practitioner offering healing, meditation, and end-of-life companionship. She was getting ready to launch her new business Anamchara Wellbeing, and needed some soulful brand photography for her website and social media that would truly reflect her energy, essence, and the deeply supportive work she offers her clients.
We shot at a beautiful house near Brixton with a huge garden, complete with a stunning weeping willow tree. Later, we headed to West Norwood Cemetery to capture a few nature shots of Nancy with her drum, adding another layer of story to her brand imagery.
I absolutely love how down to earth Nancy is - she has a strong spiritual connection but is also wonderfully Scottish and straight-talking, with none of that spiritual fluff! We had such a fun time shooting together, helped along by Nancy’s lovely friend who stood in as a client for some of the photos and kept us to time, with regular alarm clocks!
