What I love about Gabriela is that she’s a true multi-hyphenate. She offers many different things to different people, from 1-2-1 mentoring and coaching to teaching as a university lecturer. When she became a mother, she was determined to shape her work in a way that brought flexibility and balance for her family.
Her brand is still evolving, just as she is, but at the heart of everything she does is helping people reconnect with themselves, find clarity, and build the courage to take their next step. Gabriela’s goal is to guide women into authentic self-leadership, not from pressure or “shoulds,” but from who they truly are and want to be.
We chose a location house in Shoreditch with exposed brick walls and a multicoloured book shelf to capture that creative, slightly eclectic vibe. It was the perfect backdrop to photograph Gabriela reading, mapping out ideas, sticking notes everywhere, and recording on her microphone.
Afterwards, we wandered around Arnold Circus and onto Redchurch Street, taking some urban brand photos against graffiti backdrops, colourful walls, and tucked-away patches of greenery.
Although Gabriela wasn’t feeling 100% on the day, she decided to go ahead, and I’m so glad she did. We had fun with the shoot, and I think the photos beautifully capture her spirit, creativity, and the soulful work she’s here to do.
