A summer Soulful Shoot with strength and breathwork coach Rowena Ramsell in North London.
Rowena has a brilliant PT studio on Blackhorse Road in London, with a strong red, black and white aesthetic. But for this shoot, she wanted something a little different - fresh new imagery for her own online offerings, where she combines kettlebell training with functional breathwork, focusing on health, performance, longevity and stress management.
I first met Rowena through my own breathwork classes (more about that world over here), so it was so lovely to have the opportunity to work together in a different way!
We wanted to capture a real mix of brand images that reflected different sides of her work. From dynamic kettlebell and strength training shots to softer and more serene portraits in nature and beside the reservoirs.
Alongside strength training and breathwork, Rowena also facilitates sound baths so we headed into the local wetlands to capture some shots of her with her instruments too.
We had such fun together! And as well as capturing the more serious ‘work’ shots, I think we also managed to get a real glimpse of Rowena’s personality and what a brilliant teacher she is.
I’m seriously considering signing up for her 30 minute online kettlebells class this winter, although it looks pretty hard… but I guess that’s the point! 😅
